adventurous emotional hopeful inspiring mysterious medium-paced

The previous book set the stage for this book very well. So well, that I saw several of the twists coming. The book overall was still highly enjoyable. It was exciting getting to learn more about Moth and his backstory. I will say that I loved him and Charlie together!

It sucks to be completely caught up to the writer because I just want to read more stories set in this world and see the romances between humans and monsters happen. I cannot wait to see what happens! WE ARE GETTING LILAC'S book next and I'm so happy!

Amazingly beautiful story. The plot genuinely surprised me despite me having predicted several plot points. Charlie and Moth are both delightful and I loved reading a book in this world with a younger more naive monster. The way they are gentle with each other was delightful to read.

Charlie and Moth are the absolute best. I love them! I was delighted and horrified by turns through out their adventures. All the feels are felt and the sexy times are smokin’. It’s hard to gush without spoilers, so I leave it at that. Just one more thing though - we meet a monster, Chuck,  and I love her. I can’t with Chuck. She’s maybe the best part of the whole series and I’m appalled that we didn’t get to see her until the 5th book! But not really - her introduction is perfect and perfectly timed. I really just want more content featuring her. Okay, that is all. Go forth. Read the book. Then gush at me about, please!
