Things really start to take off now that Ada is "awake" but sentient robots are being hunted by the government and it's dangerous for her to be outside where other people are. With growing tension between Alex and Ada the romance side of this story starts to kick in. I loved the end of this volume and I'm really curious to see how the final volume ends.

I am so sucked into this series - what is humanity, what is free will?

So far I am enjoying this series: the minimalism, the realistic nature of the setting and characters... fast and enjoyable.

I hope this series doesnt end up dragging on into something ridiculous like 15/20 volumes. It already progresses so quickly that I think too many story arcs would be damaging to the initial plot and characters.

If this book has a flaw, it is only that the dialogue is *too* perfect. The characters, both major and minor, get so many things right that I found myself wishing these very relevant conversations actually played out this way in real life more often.

I really don't like the art in this series. The sterileness of it fits the story, but wow, is it boring to look at.

"Boring" describes most of my feelings towards this volume. Talking heads, followed by more talking heads. Which fine whatever, but when those talking heads have about as much personality as wet paper bags, I'm going to need a little more substance. I like sci-fi, I like romance, and maybe it's because I read so much of both, but this just failed to live up to either genre for me.

I'll read Volume 3 because I already have it, but any excitement I had for this comic after the first volume is long gone.

Simple and sweet story with sentient robots. What more could I ask for! I liked this volume even more than the first volume probably. Can't wait to get my hands on volume 3.

two stars ∗ i enjoyed this installment a bit more than the first one! i think mainly because the first one kinda built up the world and the characters and now it's finally leading to the plot. after that ending i'm super intrigued to read the next volume ((unfortunately i don't own it and my library doesn't have it so i have some books to buy in my near future))

Not quite as good as the first volume, but I'm still really enjoying it.
