This is one of the first in which we see very few apprehensions and even fewer Trenton-ites. It was refreshing and I enjoyed it. This one really re-wrote the script of the typical Plum books. Stanley Chipotle is clearly a rip off of Gordon Ramsey and I wish she’d included some of Chipotle before he got his head chopped off.

These are all similar, but I so enjoy them. I needed this break from reality. Plus, it's summer, and summer includes enjoying treats from the grill ... when they work out to be tasty ... not creating gastrointestinal issues.

Some laugh out loud moments, but the plot of this one just wasn’t as captivating as others in the series! It was alright!

I debated between 3 and 4 stars, but since this is by my favorite author, and there were a few laugh-out-loud moments, I went with four. Like the other Stephanie Plum books, it was a quick, fun read. Not intellectually stimulating, but an enjoyable read nonetheless.

After finishing the 14th book I looked at number 15 and thought that I could wait and read something else in between and then I was all...nah... ha ha ha.

Anyways. I read this one in just a few hours. It was fun. I do so enjoy Stephanie and her Jersey world. I'd love to be apart of it - sometimes. :o)
