I got this book on an audible sale and it seemed just the kind of book I'd love. And while the subject matter was interesting, the author is insufferable. Seems to always be right, never wrong. I'm incredibly pro science, but couldn't handle this guys dismissal of every opinion not his own.

I finished this relatively short book unsatisfied. I think I am now more confused about the postulated origin of the universe from quantum fluctuations than I was before starting this book. I think I need to read some more books about this.

Great book, most of which I wasn't smart enough to understand.

In this book, Krauss proposes that the existence of the universe can be attributed to the aimless work of existing physical laws- hence the 'nothing' in title- while everyone knows that laws must originate from some place. He disregards this, making an otherwise compelling argument for the possibility of getting a universe from nothing.
