Interesting enough and full of realistic characters that I wish did more. I kept waiting for the book to pick up--not necessarily become a single, traditionally plotted narrative, just gain some momentum--and I don't think it ever did. Oh well, it was short.

This book felt so smug and condescending. I understand that was the point at some points of the narrative but overall, I just felt like the author was trying to continually flip the script to get you to consider new angles which may have worked if the angles had a bit more nuance and there was a clearer stance by the end. This all could have been at least partially overlooked it it also hadn't committed the cardinal sin of being incredibly boring.
