I must give credit where it is due- For about the first third, I was unimpressed and frankly tired of the ultra modern premise. I don't like reading something so completely of our time. Still, this book is aptly thin and energetic, and I had a good time reading it. What also helped is when I got a better idea of what the goal of the book was, aside from creating caricatures. There is some insight and enjoyment to be found in jumping to different people, whether you see eye-to-eye with them or not. The question of truth, and with whom it lies, is probably the central one here, and maybe it doesn't lie with anyone because it doesn't exist.

In gist, although I didn't find this especially profound, I did really enjoy reading it and am impressed at the writing. Best of luck for the Booker race!

Concept was interesting but it felt underbaked at times. The commentary also feels sort of tired at this point. I get it but I didn’t really find it unique. Very average.
