i enjoyed this! a fun read but i was also reading it quickly because i was reading it for a class and i didn't have a lot of time sit with it, especially because i was reading it to write an essay on it so. a lot of my thought process while reading it was how am i going to write about this. which wasn't as fun as it would have been had i actually been reading it for fun. but i do think i might revisit it at some point and enjoy it more then!!

slight spoiler! one complaint i had was,, why were the two marriage options a man 20 years older than her (who used to be her employer) and her COUSIN????? i did not think i'd come out of this book being happy she ended up with a man 20 years older than her wtf

anyway! this has made me want to reread my plain jane :)
