Coming off the first installment of Plant Daddy, I didn't have super high hopes to be honest, but needed to at least see the characters meet and interact in person. There were a lot of typos and inconsistencies in this book and I wasn't huge on the characters, finding them really difficult to relate to, but the research-level quality of the kink descriptions was a nice way to be introduced to some elements in a low-stakes way. That said, I expected more spice and just...more.

Omg they finally met! I am just as obsessed with these characters and their story as I was when I picked up book 1. The way their relationship is growing and deepening in this book is so yummy to read (I know that’s not a very smart person way to say that but whatevs). I continued to so strongly identify with Sienna and love that Zen is giving her exactly what she needs for the first time in her subby life.

Thank you again for helping us “siennas” in the world feel seen and heard and loved.

I love the way the text conversations are written it felt so real and I get a little sad when I think about any of the Club Alias characters not being 100% fully real out there. I laughed my ass of reading this, teared up when I felt especially seen and identified with things going on and had full on freak out freeze moments during the parts that made me excited or were spicy and I loved every second. This series has now become one of my comfort series’ and I shout about it from the rooftops to anyone who will listen. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

KD is the goddess of BDSM

Katie knocked it out of the park with this one. She knows how to reach her audience and make them feel real and if they are right there in the book. Sienna is 10000% me at times and it's so nice to see Katie cover so many different mental health issues.

Why did I read book 2 when I hated book 1?

Plant Daddy part 2 is even better than part 1 and I wasn’t sure if that would be possible after finishing the first. Kayla made me feel incredibly seen with part 1 but she took it to a whole new level with part 2. Not only do I see more of myself in Sienna than in other other character I’ve ever read but the amount of similarities between Sienna and myself boarders on almost unbelievable. From the constant intrusive thoughts, the need to please everyone to a point of being taken advantage of, the lack of a filter between brain and mouth and brain and fingers….I could go on and on. Not only do I see myself in those aspects but in the need to have my brain turned off by that one specific person.  I’ve always felt extremely connected to every heroine Kayla has written but reading Sienna’s inner monologues felt like my own thoughts had been put on the page. I could go on for hours about how much these books mean to me but I don’t think I can find the words to describe it accurately. So thank you Kayla, thank you for putting that much of yourself out there for the world and making me feel more seen than I ever have, you can probably guess how much it means to me. I can’t wait to read whatever you come up with next 💚
