I've seen a lot of people complain about how badly the book has been written, and honestly, I agree. But that's the thing. It's meant to be bad (the writing style, the misogyny, etc..) I enjoyed reading the book from a psychological perspective. To see why these people who are like Holden or Aisling act the way they do.  Although the ending wasn't my cup of tea.
I lowkey wanted them to be together and the ending really said haha jokes on you they don't. I would've preferred an ending were they end up together.

One man horrifically harasses women and then complains for 150 pages when someone does the same thing to him.

So, it’s actually pretty well written and an easy read, but is there really any reason to publish a book centered on female-abuse? About how one man “gets off” on emotionally hurting women, then asks us to feel sympathy for him when a woman uses him the same way?

Aisling was truly the hero of this story. One of the biggest “good for her” books I’ve ever read, actually. I hope she continues for fuck over men in peace.

Oh, and drop her name so I can support her photography. I want to buy her book.

I cannot believe I wasted minutes of my life reading this awful book. Literally one of the worst things I have ever read and I feel so robbed after reading it it’s actually painful. The ‘plot twist’ of him getting hurt himself at the end is so cringey sorry. This feels like it was written by some 14 year old cishet boy who listened to Creep by Radiohead once and then developed a superiority complex. I would rather kill myself than read this shit again
