This book was deeply disturbing. I have read and reread the copyright page to verify that it was a work of fiction, but quite frankly I can’t imagine anyone just making this up. It was a good novel though. I would not recommend it just because of its gruesomeness. However, I would not discourage someone from reading it if they brought it up.

I was shocked by what this book had to offer. I understand why a lot of people don't like this book (the content can be quite graphic and overly-sexual), but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I would recommend giving this a read with the audiobook!

What on EARTH is this. I borrowed this from the library (thank goodness I didn't spend actual money on this) and honestly, the first page or so really gripped me. When I read the first paragraph about
emotionally hurting girls to purposefully cripple them, demean them and demoralise them
I thought that I was really getting into the dark side of the human condition and was genuinely intrigued by what the main character did to them. But after the first few pages, it was massively deflating and I didn't feel like it had much substance to it. I felt so disappointed and to be honest, it was a complete waste of my time.

One man horrifically harasses women and then complains for 150 pages when someone does the same thing to him.

So, it’s actually pretty well written and an easy read, but is there really any reason to publish a book centered on female-abuse? About how one man “gets off” on emotionally hurting women, then asks us to feel sympathy for him when a woman uses him the same way?

Aisling was truly the hero of this story. One of the biggest “good for her” books I’ve ever read, actually. I hope she continues for fuck over men in peace.

Oh, and drop her name so I can support her photography. I want to buy her book.

Yikes, this book is literally the narrative of a self entitled protagonist who gets rejected by a woman and then blames everything that went wrong in his life on others. Honestly did not enjoy the book and it baffles me how people can, only enjoyable thing about it is the title and aesthetically pleasing cover. Definitely won't be reading the other 2 books.

I cannot believe I wasted minutes of my life reading this awful book. Literally one of the worst things I have ever read and I feel so robbed after reading it it’s actually painful. The ‘plot twist’ of him getting hurt himself at the end is so cringey sorry. This feels like it was written by some 14 year old cishet boy who listened to Creep by Radiohead once and then developed a superiority complex. I would rather kill myself than read this shit again
