I feel like this was the same book just more POVs. I’ll keep reading the series but I was surprised to feel like nothing really happened in this book.

Thank god it’s over. One of the worst books I’ve read all year.. ~750 pages and NOTHING. HAPPENED. We didn’t even get more insights into the main plot. Truly disappointed in the lack of progression in this series. I will not be continuing on to book 5

Was SOOOOO happy to be back with these characters! I’m so invested in the love stories with Darien/Loren and Roman/Shay. I had fun reading this book, I laughed, I was stressed, I cried. I did kind of feel like not much was accomplished plot wise. This did pick up where book 3 ends in all darkness after the well replica explodes but all we managed in this book was to get everyone back together. Donovan is *sadly* still alive and a terror. I feel that the bulk of everything happened in the last few chapters of the book: Roman learning the truth about his true dad and Loren getting Darien back his time he gave up in book 1. That being said, I loved this book and the writing and the spice is top tier, just has me worried that if this ends at book 5 we have A LOT to cover.
