3.8 but rounding to 4, H.D. Carlton knows how to write spice and Sawyer is a really good character in my opinion. However, I didn’t really get ENGULFED in the story until about halfway through. First half just seemed to be about sexual shock factor, especially with Enzo as the MMC, but I really enjoyed how the plot and story tied up at the end. As dark and twisted as her works are, I think Carlton KILLS IT

Great book to jump back into reading

I used to adore reading growing up. I was the kid that got in trouble reading in class. When I went to college, things changed and I stopped reading. Now graduated and over a year out from university, I wanted to get back into reading. My lovely in-laws got me a kindle and I started going through booktok and this was the first one that was highly recommended that I saw. Decided to give it a try…. I finished the book in 2 days. Definitely recommend.
