TBH I don't get the hype about this one because WTF did I just read? Honestly, this was not what I was expecting. I had a hard time getting through this one and the only reason I decided to finish it was because I needed answers to all of the questions. But the answers were so unrealistic that I wanted to throw my kindle across the room. However, I did not believe the romance between the couple and I could've used about 200 fewer pages.

Firstly the dedication 🤣🤣🤣 crack up!
Secondly, ahhhh.... all kinds of fucked up this one was, honestly.
I was expecting a pretty wild read after reading Haunting & Hunting Adeline. But I liked those way better.
This was predictable. I liked the book, but easily could have just not read it.
BUT! Definitely gave the palette cleanser I was after between fantasy series, so served its purpose for me 🤣
Definitely check the trigger warnings. But as per usual for this writer, it seems the bad guys tend to get what's coming to them! So I mean that gives me peace reading this genre but may not be the same for others. Proceed with caution!
