Started off fun. There was maybe 1 exciting moment but overall the characters were all unlikable and it was annoying to keep wanting to read from the perspective of a people-pleasing mother who’s child was being bullied and did absolutely nothing to protect her.

Pros: labeled as Gilmore Girls meets HP...and yeah, it's cozy vibes with a magic school. Interesting family and school dynamics for mythological and fantastical beings. Cute Kindergarten wolf pup.
Cons: The writing style wasn't for me - very little dialogue for most of the book. Gaslighting. Miscommunication for a trope. The "Do I care enough to finish it?" for at least 50% of the book.
