Two 'enemies' end up as temp partners and sparks fly. Mason is dedicated, sexy but scarred; Lucky is hot tempered, loyal and wears his heart on his sleeve. Their romance is intense - forced proximity of working cases generates chemistry and heat. They could've held out longer though - they got sexual a bit too quickly for me! But hoo boy, their sexy scenes are definitely very steamy.

Despite the quick jump into bed, both had issues with commitment and trust and they take time to work through their hang-ups and feelings, and for them to admit that they need each other. But Mason being Lucky's cousin's ex was brought up a tad too much, and it got annoying. I thought the bit of suspense is rather weak, but I really enjoyed the camaraderie of the gang.
