I found there was a lack of intimacy in the first 200 pages that I usually crave in romance books and to be honest it almost ruined the book for me. Don't get me wrong, it was HOT AS HELL but I really need that intimacy to enjoy the book I'm reading. That being said, when Clay came back from his trip after finding out about Travis and Lilith, there was a complete switch I'm the characters in my opinion and it really redeemed the book in my eyes.
