Book 4/5
Spice

I read The Architect after too many super sweet books and I needed something different. This book filled my need perfectly, different it sure was. It was a whole lot of spice and very little personal conversations. Nikki has written this Nashville Neighbors to include a lot of smut and some forbidden relationships but this last book wins the award for the most amount of smut.

This is one of very few books that have been able to make me blush. READ THIS BOOK BY YOURSELF, STAY AWAY FROM OTHERS. This was hot hot hot! Lilith is very confident and owns her sexuality. She is the girl who will wait at your house completely naked in order to show you that she wants you. Clay opens her up to a different kind of world. His kinks aren’t what she is used to but she is eager to explore them. Mr. E gets brought in to help out when Clay is out of town. Their poly relationship includes voyeurism, three somes, toys, pain and pleasure. I don’t think hot accurately describes this book, it is SCORCHING

This was spicy! While I do wish we got more of the plot and conflict, the characters were well written. Do I want to be in a throuple?

Really nice novel with realistic spice and emotions. The main character struggles with both her sexual partners as her feelings start to become more meaningful than just a sexual relationship. The men also struggle with what they mean to each other and how far they are willing to go to be with her.

I don't even know where to begin. This is by far the steamiest book I have read (and that alone earns a well deserved 5* rating). I loved it. And while the sex is frequent it isn't gratuitous. Each BDSM scene between Lilleth, Clay and Travis serves a purpose to drive forward the story and relationship. Each scene comes with a deeper understanding of the pleasure/pain dynamic and the growing feelings between the three. But don't get me wrong, story aside, these three were pure heat!

I really didn't want to like Clay. His buttoned up geeky Dom persona was unreadable and cold. But the further the book progressed the more he grew on me. His need for control and power and his drafting of every scenario was part of his charm. This really felt like his story more than anyones as he grew and learned the most. His love for Lilleth led him to new and creative places.

I loved the honesty between the three and Lilleth's confidence and strength to experiment and learn what she wanted. Her determination and sexual confidence is what bonded the three and made them function as a poly throuple. And I loved Travis's pure desire and love for her. He would do anything to be with her and not just be an outsider in a couple's relationship.

I can usually take or leave BDSM themed books as I don't get the motivation behind it. But this really delved in to Lilleth and her desires. At no point does she seem weakened by her sub role. Instead she is the empowered one of the three and benefits from the love and devotion of both Travis and Clay.

This is a heated emotional romance which was way more complex than I was expecting.
