I don’t know how to feel about this book. There was smut every chapter and barely and romance or dynamic between each of the characters. Don’t get me wrong I love to read about smut and the BDSM world in general but if the smut continues after two chapters still, you quickly get bored.
I had higher hopes for this book because I enjoyed the first two books in the series and finished them in almost one sitting.
This book was more about how Lilith explored the BDSM world and how Clay guided her through it and eventually brought someone else into the game.
The spice rate was definitely a 4.5/5 or even 5/5 but I needed a plot, something anything.
It didn’t made sense to me how Lilith was the center of everything when it was a poly relationship. The author could’ve made dual pov’s to make the reader understand what went through their mind.
Besides I felt like Lilith only felt a “connection” to Travis because he was the mysterious guy who was taboo. I mean I get it ig because you get attracted quickly if you can’t have it. But I didn’t understand why she was hell bend on keeping him around. Other than the sex and Job they shared, they had nothing in common.
I honestly hoped she would just choose clay. It also might be better I am not the biggest fan on love triangles. Hate them to the gut because I always think how the other feels left out or unwanted und blah blah blah.
But anyways. The plot wasn’t really there but the smut was great so I will give the book a 3/5 stars. A book I read once but definitely would not re-read. Pool boy will be my favorite of the series

This storyline was so unique, I loved it so much!
I loved every other book in this series but struggled with this one. It took me 4 months to read instead of a day because I kept putting it down. I loved the idea but did not like Clay and I’m sad because everyone had such great things to say about this.

There wasn't anything wrong with it, it just wasn't my favorite.
What you can expect:
- MFM
- D/s and a surrogate M while D is away
- Clean-up
- Duet Narration
- Exhibitionist/Voyeur exploration
- DVP
What was this book about? uhhhhhh.....
What's a plot? I didn't need one with all the spice in this book. Whew **fans self**
I enjoyed seeing how the relationships organically evolved into MFM. As nice as it was, there were some things that were left out regarding a D/s relationship. I didn't like how it started and thought it was ironic that Clay got mad at Travis for not having self-control when the first time Clay and Lilith got together, it was because Clay had lost control. Otherwise it's fine, I get it. It's a book, it won't be able to incorporate all the little nuances.
One thing I did like was the mention of Doms needing aftercare as well. I liked the open communication they had with each other.
There really isn't much of a plot here. We get to see our characters navigating a complicated relationship but a lot of it are spicy scenes.
I love the Nashville Neighborhood series so much! If you loved Sara Cate's Praise series, you HAVE to read this one.

Nikki Sloane (Nashville Neighborhood, #3)
I literally don't even know what happened in this book because it was basically consecutive chapters of sex with enough light dustings of plot to be able to call it a book. Not mad about it, just literally could not tell you any more than that, unfortunately.
