3.5 stars - certain stories, such as the aspiring model from the deep South and the dressmaker, resonated more strongly than others and started the book out on a high note. Rounding down because the others (ex. Natalie, Andrea, the Brown grad) were the central characters, and therefore I was less engaged in the middle/end.
Well, if you're going into this one hoping for an amazing, well-planned and thought out plot or great character development, you're going to be disappointed. But if you're just looking for a really fun and quick read, with some typical chick-lit tropes - insta-love, love triangle etc. - this book will do the trick.
I read this book in one sitting. It's a quick, fun, and hilarious read that made me laugh out loud multiple times. I loved all of the different stories that made up this book and all of the unique, quirky characters really set this book apart. I also loved the setting: New York City. This book painted such a wonderful view of the city and what it's like to live there, which totally enchanted me. 4 stars! I really, really liked this one.
I liked certain stories within the book, but all of them together did not quite make it work for me.
Great light short stories all connected around a single dress. Some are very touching and thought provoking and others are silly. Enjoyed it a lot.
This was a really cute book and exactly what I needed at the moment. It's a large cast of characters rom-com style where all the characters are connected in some way to the IT dress of the season. I think a few of the minor characters could have been cut out in favor of more time with some of the main characters. There was some unevenness with the storylines and characters and it kind of wraps up a little too neatly but I still enjoyed it. I loved how integral New York was to the storylines and it did feel like a love letter to the magic of the city. I was really in the mood for something easy breezy that would just be charming and sweet and this book delivered. Overall this book is a fluffy and satisfying 3.5.

This book was a fun read. I really really liked the speech at the end. I thought it was a really well written aspect of the book. I did feel like the book was a bit drawn out and some of the stories weren’t really needed. But overall, I enjoyed this book.
I loved this book so much. Specially chapter 35. Its so good. Creepy but good.
