This was such a sweet mash up of stories. It was a very quick read. All the characters start out separate and then their worlds are all brought together by one dress. It was a great feel good story.

2.5 stars.

This was very chick-litty, so much so that it would really make a fabulous rom com but I think the whole “shared experience with an object of clothing” has already been done by the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Well, this is more of an ensemble cast that’s unrelated. Except they all experience The Dress.

It’s about what I expected. Is there a “meets expectations” rating in goodreads? I thought it was pretty cute and a good change of pace for me (I do read too many fantasy novels).

I think this would possibly work better as a movie.

What probably dragged it down was the fact that I had to struggle through the last half. Granted, I was listening to this on audiobook, so if I’m going to struggle, I’m going to struggle HARD. It went fine for a bit, then I quit listening to it until I only had two days left of loan and skipped through to the end.

Plus, the whole Andie story line made me queasy.

A nice summer read.

I was a little skeptical because this isn't the type of book I usually read, but I wanted something lighthearted and funny and Nine Women, One Dress delivered. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and was engaged throughout. I enjoyed how it didn't fall into any cliches, and it kept me curious and smiling all the way to the end

This is a great little beach read. The story is told in a variety of vignettes and I really enjoyed seeing how they all intertwined with each other. This book is fun and lighthearted, a must have for summer.

Loved the concept of intertwine stories about one dress. The audiobook felt like listening to a movie.

What a delightful read! Funny with lots of meet-cutes, the story progresses through the tale of a little black dress and nine women. It’s a definite feel good book (and who couldn’t use that right now) with several love stories that all lead to the inevitable, “and they lived happily ever after”.

Although told in short vignettes, the characters are fully developed and the reader becomes wholeheartedly vested in their story and their stories ending.

A lovely novel that is definitely worth your time!
