I got a free galley copy from Doubleday, and I finished it in a day! A cute, breezy story that's perfect for whiling away pool or beach time. What a fun, quick read!
I liked the concept of a dress affecting so many people, but other than that the plots for each person seemed a little weak to me. I also didn't love how much it jumped around, I thought the characters stories would connect more, but there were a few that were completely stand alone that I thought maybe weren't necessary.
I just loved everything about this book. All the main characters whose lives were affected by the perfect black dress in this collection of “short story” chapters were just charming. Most of the characters in the story didn’t know each other - which made the story that much more interesting - as the dress randomly weaved in and out of their lives. Highly recommended!
The literary version of "Love Actually", instead that it's a dress that is the common link, not a holiday.
Very cute storylines and interesting enough characters to stay entertained. I have my favorite storylines/characters but all characters came alive and it was an easy fun read.

Just adorable - many characters woven together in a variety of stories. A light, fast, fun read.
7/10 didn’t need the instagram chick story so I skipped it.
One dress, one perfect black dress changes the life of 9 women who come in contact with it. For some the dress opens the doors to the life beyond their wildest dreams but for others the change is life-shattering. Each chapter tells the story of a different character. A delightful story that leaves you yearning for a dress like that.
Quick read, lots of likable characters, each chapter told from a different POV… I really enjoyed!
*DNF* I loved this book's concept in theory, but it really was all over the place with characters I could just not care for as a result.
