I really enjoyed this story that showed how this Max Hammer dress went through these women’s lives. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the men’s stories as much as the women’s, including the dressmaker Morris and the actor Jeremy.
Felicia’s story was my favorite. Some of the women get more chapters. I would have liked to see this novel somewhat longer in order to get some of the stories with less airtime to have more time to be fleshed out.

This was a fun, easy, summer read. It is a more adult version of the traveling pants. The author links characters and events together through a little black dress. Grab a glass of wine and hang out I the backyard, this book is perfect for that.
easy read very fluffy... I could see this book becoming a cheesy Rom-com movie.
What a pleasant, low stress book. So many happy endings. Just what I needed right now with so much drama in DC.
