very much enjoyed the first three quarters of this, the atmosphere was hazy, the vibes were weird and witchy- the TWIST of Mally bein a fuckboy made me GASP. however, there was a bit too much fatphobia in this book for me to properly enjoy it. justice for fat tracy / denise

God, this book has been on my TBR for ages. I'd pick it up, read a few sentences and just not be able to get into it, at all. Well, I finally powered through and... hm. Although I kind of predicted the ending, it still felt unearned and anti-climactic. The blurb also did not market this book for what it actually is.

<spoilers>Hm, i have to say i didnt rly see the twist or the ending coming, i was 100% convinced from the the start that she was gonna kill someone to even out petras death but i rly thought it was gonna be lorry, i mean get it bestie mally deserves it tbh, honestly was not a fan of the magpie bit tho
