Is there anything I don't love about this book? I loved Jamie and Pippa's banter, chemistry, just everything about it had me hooked! Definitely recommend.

the repetitive overuse of the phrase “my pretty assistant” really started to ick me out about halfway through the book, but other than that jaime and pippa were so sweet! cute, fast-paced read for all the hockey romance lovers!

the writing in this was a mess at times and super repetitive and cringy at others, but I had a great time lol

the spice is frequent and the door is wide open

low amounts of actual hockey scenes and no knowledge about hockey is required, loved that

Yeah, I'll read more

Jamie moves back to Vancouver after he discovered that his mom suffers from panic attacks. When he gets there, his new hockey coach suggests that he gets an assistent to help him out with his daily tasks. But then his old high school crush shows up.

This is the second hockey romance I have ever read, so in my mind I, unintentionally, started comparing this to Icebreaker, which I loved. But this book was not Icebreaker. I did love it though. However, it wasn't 5 stars because, for me, the plot was not as extensive as it could have been. The spice on the other side was. But I think that the spice somehow overtook the whole plot. Because the plot that was there was absolutely amazing. I loved how his mothers panic attacks were incorporated or how Pippa dealt with her past. It was a really easy, quick book for me, which is perfect and everything that I want it to be.
