I absolutely LOVED this! The hockey book of my dreams because I’m a goalie girl through and through! Jamie was the biggest simp and sweetheart and absolutely deserves to be taken care of always
Loved the characters, the story line, all of it. A must read if you’re a romcom fan and hockey girl. First in the series and although you could read in any order, you’ll have a better backstory if you read them in order.
This was my first hockey romance, and it unlocked a new trope for me! I usually do not like slow burn, but I was fine for this one! I find myself fanning myself and grinning from ear to ear. I devoured this book in one sitting and forgot to eat dinner. THAT SAID A LOT.

Let's be honest, no one reads the hockey romance for the plot. This one had the slightly strange boss and subordinate trope but also there was a mix of high school sweetheart in there. There is a little bit of a slow burn (I think they fuck before the halfway point) but it's worth it. The smut is really good and the focus on female pleasure is refreshing and very hot
