Yeah I will be reading this whole series. The last line definitely hooked me in. This is giving the vibes I imagined the mars rover feeling throughout its journey if it had humans with it.

I'm not a sci-fi sort of guy, never have been. I might be allergic. But this book has stolen my heart so quickly it was almost an affront to my preconceptions. So quickly in fact that by halfway, I had already entertained the idea of continuing the series, and after the last few lines, I had written down the names to be sure to experience them in the right order.

I'll add, personally (since it's never mentioned outright, which I like in and of itself), that as an autistic person, this has been one of the most lovingly-crafted representations I've read. That's the best way I can manage to word it.

A coworker has been trying to get me to read this for years and I finally did it! It was short, the story was intriguing, and Murderbot itself is an interesting narrator.

DID NOT FINISH: 35%

The concep of robot developing "human" emotions is really cliche. I gave this book a chance but wasn't really interested after few chapters and don't think I'll ever came back.
