I’ve been watching the show and reading at the same time, and as much as I thought the show didn’t spend enough time on the other characters, the book actually spent even less! Overall it was fun and I’ll probably read the next one
adventurous fast-paced

If I didn't have a strange aversion to sci-fi and didn't have my typical troubles (I frequently space out and stop reading without realizing) with sentences containing too many technical terms that I struggle to comprehend because my brain prefers to live in a forest and stare at trees all day, this would be a five star.

It was a fun book overall, but i think i only really found it as charming as i did because it was short. Murderbot is really funny and quirky but overall it's a good popcorn read

“[I]n the corner all they had was Murderbot, who just wanted everyone to shut up and leave it alone so it could watch the entertainment feed all day”

I really enjoyed this book! Throughout I got really invested in these characters despite its length, and I’m definitely going to read the rest of the series. I have to say though, that especially in the beginning I felt like the humor was trying way too hard, but I felt myself get into it the further the book went (especially because it felt extremely relatable)
