Reviews with content warning for Infidelity - Sweet Temptation

This was an interesting read. I actually thought about dnfing bcs the beginning felt a bit boring and humorless. I also had a hard time getting to like the MCs in the beginning. But I couldn't stop lmao. It was a one day read so I thought "Ehh let's keep going."

Smut wise I was a bit disappointed. There's good smut don't get me wrong but there could have been way more. There were scenes that could have become such great smut scenes that were basically overwritten saying "they had sex." Or " they made love." Overall I would give the smut a 2,5/5 🌶.

This was definitely the kinda book were I came for the smut and stayed for the plot—which was incredible btw I liked it more than I would have thought.

I'm glad I didn't dnf lol.

This was probably the most domestic and "cute" mafia books I've ever seen. I surprisingly liked Cassio and Giulia because I usually don't like age gap books but this worked. Their relationship was really fast paced but I get it, and still enjoyed it. The part that explains what happened to Cassio's ex took me out lol. I physically had to put my kindle down tbh. Even though I did like this book, I wish there was a bit more action. There was also times where I wished there was more between Giulia and Cassio but all in all it was still good.

i hate age gaps so that was extremely uncomfortable for me. i wish she was at least 21, i couldn't look past it. the writing & plot was very wattpad-esk which made the book easy to read but it was still uncomfortable especially at the more mature scenes.

I found this story enjoyable for the most part. The thought I wouldn't enjoy this book in the beginning. I found some of the things that happened at the beginning to be disgusting and some of the traditions were downright horrible.

But as the story goes on it gets better at least the main characters of the story do. Quite a few of the side characters remained to be absolutely horrible in my opinion all in the name of wanting the best for their kids or their family when I'm reality their actions were for selfish reasons.

Other than these small issues spattered throughout the story, I did end up really liking it by the end.

I love how despite being tested like a child throughout the book, Giulia stuck her ground and didn't take anything from anyone especially from like her husband and the men in this book and I like how she fought for her version of a happy family despite all the obstacles placed in front of her.

She may have been one of my favorite characters in this story. She made the best of the situation she was forced into and proved everyone wrong while putting her new family above that of her blood family. This story shows that blood relation isn't everything.
