I really enjoyed this one! The characters had great chemistry, and Abby Jimenez always knows how to bring the emotions. The romance felt genuine, and the story touched on some heavier topics without being too heavy overall.

That said, a few parts felt a little too dramatic or wrapped up a bit too neatly for me. Still, I was invested the whole time and found myself smiling (and tearing up) more than once.

Not quite a top favorite, but definitely a solid, emotional read with a lot of heart. If you love slow-burn romance and a bit of depth, you’ll probably enjoy this one too.

Didn’t really like this book too much sadly. I think there was too many time jumps from the main characters getting to see each other from one time to the next and it all felt rushed but also slow somehow ? I think had the book been shorter it would’ve worked better maybe

Weakest of the new era Abby J. books primarily because it was just so terribly repetitive that it made me want to DNF. I know previous books by her also get repetitive, but this was beyond those I felt. Overall liked the characters and honestly wish we got more Xavier. Low to mid spice.
