TikTok Brain Rot and Unnecessary Trauma: The Novel. I am so disappointed as this was a highly anticipated read for me and I waited for the library hold for weeks.

Abby Jimenez has done it again. Say You’ll Remember Me is tender, funny, and  unforgettable. I laughed, I cried, and I fell completely in love with these characters. Samantha and Xavier’s story is equal parts romantic and heart-wrenching, blending the thrill of a surprise connection with the deep emotional weight of family, illness, and sacrifice.

Samantha is smart, sarcastic, and trying her best to hold it all together while her family faces something no one’s ever really ready for. Xavier is a grumpy, golden-hearted vet with a tough past and the softest soul. Their chemistry is instant, their banter is top-tier, and the way they show up for each other, across states, time zones, and emotional walls, had me swooning.

This isn’t just a love story, it’s about what it means to be present, to remember the people you love, and to choose joy even in the hardest moments. Easily one of my favorite reads of the year so far. Abby Jimenez writes books that feel like being seen, and this one hit me right in the heart.

Abby Jimenez does it again. I just love her writing style; it’s like reading a romcom. This one wasn’t my favorite but I still loved it. MMC was the sweetest and most thoughtful character. Grumpy/sunshine, long distance, dementia, family trauma.

Weakest of the new era Abby J. books primarily because it was just so terribly repetitive that it made me want to DNF. I know previous books by her also get repetitive, but this was beyond those I felt. Overall liked the characters and honestly wish we got more Xavier. Low to mid spice.

Another amazing read by Abby Jimenez! Her ability to write in characters and their stories in a realistic, meaningful, and reverent way will never cease to amaze me.
