It is a perfect ode to womanhood. It is melancholic and beautiful in a devastating way. I felt like I was being pushed out of my body while reading.

Boring, pretentious and presumptuous; a book about women that completely fails to understand women in any and every capacity. A dull, bloated, self-important waste of time that dares to put itself inside the head of one of our great modern writers and succeeds only in weakly condescending to her.

i loved the writing but i found myself somewhat lost in the way the three stories intertwine. but nonetheless its a good book and its description of mental health was really relatable for me because i’m just beginning to deal with my own mental health problems; its really nice finding in words what i’m struggling to say i’m feeling. this book is very very beautifully written

A very beautiful but quite an excruciating book. I like each of the POV carecters - they're all so interesting and unusual in their own ways but I just feel like the story stretched on far more than I would have liked it to. Some parts of the book were just really hard to get through because of it.
