Don’t know what it is but I can’t seem to get through this one even via audiobook

A great intro to the whole vampire genre. If you're gonna read vampire books you may as well get this classic under your belt. Great spooky October read.

Not quite what I expected based on the idea of Dracula prevalent in today's pop culture, but overall an interesting snapshot of a moment in history. A lot of this novel has not aged well, but it says a lot about the time in which it was written. I found a lot of the dialogue and recollections in various journals to be pretty corny, and to give off very r/thathappened vibes, and the story overall was pretty repetitive. But, I was mostly entertained, and the bones of the story were genuinely intriguing.

Dracula is a classic that everyone should probably read. That being said, without ever having watching a Dracula movie or knowing much about the book, I found this hard to follow. The story went back and forth a lot and maybe it just isn't for me.
