Well turns out the last bit was an afterword and other stuff
so this is very short
read in less than an hour
weird
and interesting
Quite enjoyed it, wish it was longer XD
Edit: Short review: Funny, entertaining, creepy, educational, strange and I loved it! Loved hearing the afterword about how they came up with the strange idea in the story! Solid 4 stars and I definitely want to check out the author's other works now!

Bacteria as a pickup artist. Definitely a unique concept! Feles is probably more charming than the real life hemorrhoids, though, if more insidious because of the opportunity to become an intergalactic issue with a hive-mind.

A fun, odd little short story with a quirky protagonist. I also enjoyed reading how the author and her line editor came up with the idea of predatory bacteria from a story of her friend getting aggressively hit on at a bar. Just goes to show, story inspiration comes from everywhere!

I first read this story in [b:The Galaxy Chronicles|27824834|The Galaxy Chronicles (The Future Chronicles)|Jeff Seymour|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1447448272s/27824834.jpg|47640628] late last year and really enjoyed it. It's well-written and incredibly unique, and it was one of my favorite entries in that collection!
