the premise of the book really caught my attention...i'm a former triathlete so samantha being a retired professional triathlete appealed to me.
overall, the book was ok...the writing was good, the premise was good but i thought there were too many sex scenes (i know it's erotica but enough is enough). their relationship seemed glossed over and based primarily on their compatibility in bed.
by the end of the book their relationship seems to progress but by then i just wanted to finish the book.
i thought the characters were likeable but seemed underdeveloped. the surprise sam springs on both cooper and the reader came out of nowhere and seemed misplaced.
