“There’s a special peace in sleeping next to someone you love. When you slip into the dark holding them and wake up and they’re still there and you know that everything that matters is just opening your eyes away.”

I truly loved this book. I’ve never been so in love with both main characters and how sweet they are to each other. There were parts I legitimately laughed out loud and other parts I teared up, which for me is something that’s only happened for a hand full of books I’ve read.

10/10 would recommend, will read again.

I didn't think it was possible, but this was even better than Part of Your World.  Messier, more emotional.. but so good!  New favorite romance.

I don’t say this lightly: this is the best book I’ve ever read. I didn’t realize until reading this book that I’ve never actually seen anxiety that resembled my own portrayed in the main character of a book. I felt really known by the author, and the story made me cry both very happy and very sad tears. I love a book that makes me feel something deeply, regardless of whether that feeling is positive or not. (But most of the feelings in Yours Truly were positive!) The story was rich. The characters were so full and complete that I genuinely forgot (multiple times) these people weren’t real and I couldn’t just look them up on Google to see where they are now. It was one of those books I had to sit in silence and stare at the ceiling for a few minutes after it was over to process all of my thoughts.

A solid 11/10 and I’m gutted I’ll never be able to read it for the first time ever again.

I didn’t know this was the second book in the series until I purchased “a part of your world” (the first book in the series) but that wasn’t an issue at all when going back and reading #1 - the stories are so complete on their own and are SO GOOD.
