Not for me. Hearing about the type of man he was with his family and the tragedies of his upbringing was too much for me. This was my first try with true crime like this and it seems it isn't my genre.

In his seemingly never ending reign of terror, Richard Kuklinski murdered, tortured, dismembered, and brutalised over 200 men. To "normal" beings like us, his story is appaling, intriguing and shocking, so of course this book would top the charts. Kuklinski is spellbinding.
While powering through this book, it's evident that Carlo is quite fond of Kuklinski. Initially I thought that robbed the story of the necessary tension. But I figured this way is kind of interesting too... it's novel and definitely insightful to look at a psychopath as a whole. with his good and evil. With his habit of feeding victims to rats to his love for his daughters.
My major gripe is the editing. There are many points, in fact paragraphs, that are repeated, word to word... so unnecessary. But I guess worth it for a looksy into the mind of a fascinating killer.

A really intense look into the personal life of a sociopathic killer. It’ll leave you with one question though: why do i like this guy despite all this murder and crime?

This book has great content the first time you read it. After about the 100th time reading the SAME sentence it gets aggravating. I think the author had half a book of content and decided to spend the last half duplicating every word phrase and sentence in the beginning of the book. Good story badly written. It was so repetitive I was frustrated rather than interested.
