This was a great book, that was very inspiring to read. There was a huge variety of stories included. And I can't state enough how inspiring this is in an age where we feel like giving up. However, I do have some complaints. Many of the species were only briefly mentioned. The author/s state that there will be an amazing website that included way more info, pictures, resources etc. The book had to be edited down a lot because there were so many amazing stories. Well guess what? The website doesn't exist! I've searched for it numerous times and haven't found it. And especially in the last 50 pages, they must've mentioned the darn website 20 times! Don't promise you're going to have this amazing website that will further expand on the stories presented here, and then not follow through on that! It really does upset me because the website sounded amazing and it sounded like they had everything they needed to create it.

It is indeed a beautiful and hopeful book. Now I have the desire to know more, and to go to the website and learn everything about all those projects mentioned there. The only remark I could make, is that some of the stories are told in a rush, as obviously there was not enough space to tell all the stories as detailed as they deserved. I highly recommend this book to everyone as it makes us look at the future in a brighter way, now that we are closing in on the 21st of December 2012. :)

If there were half as many essays in this book, I would be a fan. But there are too many stories of saving endangered animals that are so similar, they starry to blur which is why I didn't make it through the whole book. Jane does the audio herself which is a treat.

Inspirational book. Fills me with hope for the near future. Such a powerful woman.
Although the book is written in a short story format, I found that since the length of the book was longer than I can usually read, it made it so much easier to stay interested, besides the fact that the book itself was full of so much hope and possibility.
