So much important information that is shared pretty quickly. It was clear to follow how the ethnic cleansing began and cited many sources. I found some of the people and cities sometimes difficult to keep track of but a great resource to hold accountable the atrocities
Graphic: Child death, Gun violence, Violence, Death, Murder, Sexual assault, Body horror, Torture, Blood, Deportation, Genocide, Police brutality, Racism, and Rape
Moderate: Colonisation, War, Mass/school shootings, Fire/Fire injury, Gaslighting, and Slavery
Minor: Gore and Pedophilia

Extremely detailed history of the Nakba of 1948. Ilan Pappé makes the argument that the Nakba was a planned ethnic cleansing event, something that has long been debated and denied by Zionists and their sympathizers. Pappé brings a unique perspective to the issue as a Jewish scholar who renounces Zionism.
I only wish the writing was a bit more accessible, this was an extremely hard book to get through because of how detailed it was - the majority of the book was a repitition of stats and events that jumbled together in my mind and made it hard to follow. That being said, I do think the detail is incredibly important in remembering the Palestinian people whose stories have been lost to history and propaganda.
An important book in understanding the Palestinian struggle for liberation that I'm glad I read.
