So I read this book because I was watching TikTok and the tiktoker was doing a GRWTM while telling her life story. Turns out it wasn’t her life story, but the synopsis of this book. I was really intrigued enough to download it then give it a go. So I did……. Aaaaaaand I was more invested with the synopsis thinking it was someone’s real life rather than a book. It was a quick best friend, touch her and you’ll die read. Read it in three hours and can I get that time back? Nope….. but what I will say is I did like the sister Vanessa and I would have probably enjoyed this book in my teen/early adult years.

I think I’m honestly rating this 3 stars because it was so different from what I have been reading lol. There’s a lot of looping back to the same point and it’s kinda obvious and cringe lol. But purity culture is a super real thing so reading about it and people leaving it behind was interesting enough!
