I found this book offensively smug, both about its jokes (which are neither as clever nor as funny as it clearly thinks they are) and about its attempt to tie spiritualism to science (which is bunk -- not saying that all attempts to tie spiritualism to science are bunk, but this one definitely is). I can't think of anything to say about the story, because the story is just a vehicle for the message about spiritualism (which is bunk).
