if i were to describe it with one word it would be intimate
it's like a collection of different shades of the existential angst of being a person and deeply needing a sense of closeness that's just out of your grasp, while existing in the age of technology where so much of communication and expression is online. and also it's about sex and drugs and partying
a lot of the experiences these poems revolve around arent very relatable to me personally but i still found a lot of the emotional aspects to resonate with me
language is very accessible imo i got through this very easily as someone who doesn't consume much poetry
favourites are pain theory, pigeon poem and THE HOTTEST GIRL IN THE WORLD!!!!!
