Gosh I loved this book. I wasn’t sure why and I did feel like it took some time to get into but I really loved it. I got hooked and couldn’t wait to see how it ended and the very end makes me really want to read the next one.

This is the first V E Schwab I've read and although I thought it was a stand alone I'm glad to have gotten to the end to read there would be more. It started slow but when it picked up it took off.

I don't know why it took me so long to finish this. I really liked it and will definitely be reading the second book. I saw kate's dad being the one responsible for killing her mom and the attack on her coming from a mile away but i did NOT see leo being involved so that was a nice surprise.
