Sexy, medium paced, mage/were match made in Heaven. Steamy, but with the perfect amount of plot and smut.

I loved this!!!!

Firstly - Brexley - What a Name..... I love it!!!!

Well Brexley Is a Man for Hire who never wants to be tied down, He owes a favor to the Man who saved Him as a kid.... Kill the famous Grandma a household name bringing Magical treats to the Masses.

Red... A nymphomaniac who want to jump anyone that touches her.... Also the Heiress to Grandma's establishment and a magical Dud

Suffice to say more that dirty words fly Between Red and Brexley when they meet.... An how a past has them tied.

DNF @ 33%.

I was unable to get invested in these characters, it just felt like nothing was happening. I did give the audiobook a try to see if that could redeem the experience by it was fraught with odd mispronunciations and I had to stop listening.

Classics with a Twist!

Wow just wow! I could not put this book down. The classic stories and how Holly made it her own, I am in love and can't wait to read the rest of the series.

“Why Red, what a big heart you have.”
“All the better to love you with.”

Definitely not a fairytale retelling I was expecting but I did enjoy it! Onto the next in the series!

4.5⭐

I predicted most of the plot twists of this story (I know it's a retelling, but I'm talking about the twists this story brought to the party, okay?), so I can't in good conscience give this 5 stars, but I still loved this. I don't know that I've ever had so much fun with a Red Riding Hood retelling.

I will say, though, I'm shocked Red's grandma...
Spoilerended up not being a total bitch. That was the one thing I didn't predict. I totally thought she was going to be in on it, and that the email was setting Red up to be the fall person for Grandma's shenanigans. The rest of that end I called pretty early on, though.

I just felt like, even though it's a retelling and a certain amount of expectations come with that, this story was really well plotted. Hopefully that continues going forward, because right now I'm excited to continue the series.

An okay read. I really liked the premise, a reworking of little red riding hood. But I didn't like the fmc, and the relationship between the main characters didn't work for me. There was so much smut that towards the end, it felt a bit repetitive.

4.5 ⭐️ Holy sh!t-Little Red and the Big, Bad Wolf!

I came into this book with zero expectations. Seriously, I picked it at random out of my Stuff Your Kindle Shelf and I didn't even read the blurb - I presumably read it when I got it, but I have no recollection of those events, your honour.
And, my god, was that the way to go! I loved this so much!

I'm obsessed with modern-day retellings, and I'd never seen anything that promised smutty, Little Red Ridding Hood + the Wolf romance. This was angsty, funny, and smutty, all in a world where there's magic, mages, werewolves, and amazing paranormal things all around. Also, I went in without reading the TW (which is kind of irresponsible of me, because I am absolute chickenshit, even in books), and just because it worked out for me, it doesn't mean it will for others, so I recommend to skip the blurb and go into this blind, but if family issues/ tragedies are a trigger for you, maybe look them up more thoroughly.

I really, really hope that there will be books for Cinder, Goldie, Kiki and Rap! I want more!!!
