Damn. I love the movie, and the book did not disappoint. It kept my attention throughout. The ending left me wanting more, though! Nick and Amy are both terrible people who don’t develop as characters, but that works here.

loved it. everything i enjoyed about the movie was reflected tenfold here. obsessed with the character dynamics flynn presents and develops through the novel.

I usually like unlikeable protagonists… but not these two. Not sure I’ve ever hated characters more - but maybe that was the point. Didn’t like the ending either. I do think Flynn has tapped into something powerful here but it’s almost too sinister to feel realistic.

bro i dunno what i was expecting,, but honestly i just found it super dry 90% of the time and i literally hate listening to both nicks misogyny and amys internalized misogyny and general sociopathic behaviour. i think i liked the movie better

oh. my. god. i am so, so, so addicted. amy and nick are so venomous and wretched for one another, but fit perfectly in that way. i honestly haven’t been able to get this book out of my mind. it was so intense, and insane, and disturbing, and.. Amazing.
