Thanks for that ending, author, may you be blessed! Gosh, there was far too much suffering in this novel. But it was incredible, fun and light-hearted. I just wanted to shove some sense into these characters at times. Which means that I really, really care, so... good job, Sarah Rees Brennan.
seiji and nicholas are truly the kings of communication so why did they not teach aiden and harvard a thing or two about that it would truly have saved us a lot of time

Another stellar volume in the Fence series! Sarah does a fantastic job bringing the characters to life, and in continuing the story that Fence: Striking Distance left us on. This one's a bit more emotional and angsty (SO many morons with no brain cells or communication skills!), so at times I was DYING for things to just HAPPEN! But I'm so pleased with the ending and I hope for a) either Volume 5 ASAP or b) more novels or c) all of the above!
In this novel, you'll get:
- Seiji just not knowing how emotions work or other human beings. But he's getting there!!!

I absolutely loved this book. I love having a little extra of the inner monologues and thought processes between these characters. The look into Aiden and his feelings of self-worth, and how Seiji viewed Nicholas were gold.

"Seiji, plainly unable to deal with this situation, looked around for his security idiot, Nicholas Cox."
