A beautiful, coming-of-age story full of wonderful heart-warming moments and completely heart-breaking ones. I cried.
I'm not sure how historically accurate some parts were, but it was so beautifully told that it didn't bother me.

Wow…….. just wow. I finished reading this book in tears. It is such a powerful story about overcoming loss and hardship. I loved the character development for Victoria - she is inspiring. 

I highly highly recommend reading this book. I was hooked from the first page and didn’t put it down.

It was okay. Parts of the story had too much emotional/dramatic writing that just didn't hit the mark for me and instead just seemed melodramatic. I most enjoyed the friendship with Zelda and the old woman. Female friendships are underrated. I was disappointed by the ending - there should've been more.

this was so so disappointing. the characters are incredibly one dimensional and stereotypical, the plot is incredibly unbelievable and boring, and the author used the singular Indigenous American character is barely featured and simply used to further the main characters story and then thrown away.

Beautifully written. Loved the
Colorado history and geography.  A little too much trauma for 5 stars, but overall redemptive.
