Loved it. There is something very itriguing about this family. Okay, yes we get not just one hot guy in a story, we get four. How awesome is that? Although it's still too early to really determine what powers these guys have, I like the fact that everyone looks at it as a bad thing and that every one who is lets say "normal" knows what kind of powers they have. Normally, secret powers etc are left a secret. So I'm liking this difference already.
Who would have thought watching a guy hit some baseballs in a cage would be sexy. I didn't even have to watch it with my own eyes to feel how Emily would be feeling.
Yum yum!
I'm excited to start this new series and hope that we aren't finished with these two, along with getting to know the other brothers better. :)

I really loved it - easy style of writing, unusual paranormal world, interesting characters and the end promising an exciting sequel! I'm intrigued!

I didn't know what to think of this book. It sounded awesome as blurb, and it was, though the characters where a bit confusing, even though it was a 0.5, I felt like I missed a story, missed a something important.
But other then that, I liked the characters, though it was a bit lame how the fell for each other. Destined to not be together, and in the end getting together. Though I am curious to how it will continue.
But reading the blurb of the other books, it seems like they never existed, which is a shame. I want to read more about these 2.

Little novella that just gives a bit more of the background story for Michael Merrick. I'm not sure it added anything extra to the whole of the series, but it's nice supplemental reading if you're into that kind of thing.

It got 2 stars because there was no story. It was just some chapters. Some chapters that 38% into Book 1, haven't been referred to at all.
So?
It was just some chapters.

NOTE - You should read this short prequel AFTER you read Book 1 in the series (Storm). I don't think it will have nearly the impact if you read it first.
I was actually really surprised that I loved this little novella just as much as I loved Storm. Reading Emily and Michael's story and knowing how it all turned out was heartbreaking. I don't always know if it's worth it to buy the novellas that go along with books, but now I think I'll have to get them all for this series!
