Cute and short prequel to the Good Girls Guide to Murder series. Good intro to the characters and allusions to the overarching character traits. Felt unresolved and short but it is a novella so.

I haven’t read A Good Girls Guide To Murder yet (this had no spoilers for that yay) since I don’t usually like mysteries but the characters and Pip especially are so intriguing and nuanced in this book that I’m feeling more hopeful towards the mystery aspect of A Good Girls Guide To Murder. Dare I say Kill Joy was even cozy at times??

A quick and easy read! It provides you some basic insight into shat happened. Would recommend if you like AGGGTM. Not as good at the other books but still good!
