I don’t think this novella is very necessary except for the last chapter but I liked knowing why Pip chose Andie and Sal’s case for her project

My Youngest Spawn picked this out for her book report, and we always read her book report books together. Plus, I've been wanting to read the others and I prefer to start a series from the very beginning.

I thought it was a cute premise but we found ourselves getting lost among all the names and characters. Pip is smart as a whip and I still think her conclusion was right, regardless of what anyone says.

A great prequel to a fantastic series that isn’t necessary but still a good read for fans of the books. Age 14+

So if anyone was wondering the reading order, this DEFINITELY comes after the series. It kinda assumes you’ve already read the series (I’ve now read it before and after the rest of the books)

Anyway it’s just a cute little murder mystery novella. Nothing that special just provides insight on the rest of the series (which is that special)

It’s a fun little story telling how we ended up at A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder. I really like Holly Jackson’s style, one of my new favourite author.

A quick read to help readers get to better know the characters and friendships before they are introduced in more detail in the good girls guide to murder series.
