I was all over the place with this book, but in the end I really liked it. Some rough patches and some heavy handedness with the wise lessons that just did not read naturally, but on the whole I expected a light quirky cozy and got so much more. I wouldn't even call this a cozy. But not a thriller either. More like.. women's fiction that happens to have a mystery? 

This gave me a lot to think about, and I love when that happens unexpectedly. 😌

Oh, and lastly, I very much appreciated the matter of fact portrayal of autism in a regular kid, not making it some big deal. Just part of who they are.
